Why a structured RFQ matters
For hospital beds, wheelchairs, transfer equipment and rehabilitation products, a unit price alone does not define the delivered product. A structured request helps suppliers quote the correct configuration and lets buyers compare offers fairly.
Core RFQ fields
- Buyer type and destination country.
- Product category, exact model or required functions.
- Quantity by model and expected repeat-order potential.
- Voltage, plug, language requirements and preferred accessories.
- Branding, OEM or packaging requirements.
- Required certificates and destination-market documentation.
- Delivery location, requested shipment date and container or delivery constraints.
Documents to request
Ask for a product specification, user manual, photo set, accessory list, packing dimensions, loading information, model-specific documentation, warranty terms and spare-parts support details. Confirm which statements apply to the selected configuration before placing the order.
How to compare quotations
Compare the full delivered configuration, documentation, accessory package, warranty and service support. Record any exclusions, alternative components and delivery assumptions. This prevents a lower headline price from hiding a different product scope.

Frequently asked questions
Should MOQ and lead time be published as fixed values?
Not when they vary by model, configuration, quantity, documents and production schedule. Ask for them in the written quotation.
